I don’t know but in their other ads they showed some favorable test results. I guess they couldn’t have been complete junk as you can still buy new Uniroyal Tiger Paws.

And they are complete junk. After 20,000 miles you can’t even hold a conversation in the car over the road noise. Up to 20K you only have to shout.

After 50+ years of business including a lot of turmoil at Uniroyal in the 80’s I would be surprised if they are the same tire. Maybe the same brand and model but not the same design?

Of course it’s not the same tire but I was thinking that if the original one had completely failed they probably wouldn’t have used the tarnished name again.
